A few months ago there was a light frost on my windshield wiper. In fact, it was cold and a bit gloomy outside. Comparatively speaking it probably matched my emotions at that time. Some are wondering how we ever got to this point of being in our homes across the nation. I don’t know about you, but at some point you get this emotion of wanting to just stop time, for a moment, while you take a deep breath. The breath of life that many took for granted was filled with the danger of perhaps never breathing again all due to an invisible virus called Corona.
How ironic that the virus in Spanish means crown. The enemy always likes to take the form of royalty. Sometimes, I just want to stand face to face with him and say “don’t you get it! You never win!”. But we have a process that takes us from where we are to where God wants us to be. God moves within these times to draw people closer to him. If you read the Bible you will see that God is always protecting the people from being victims not only of falling into slavery but also of plagues and disease. He is a miracle working God. In fact, people sometimes fail to see the devil as the villain in the story who brings disease and calamity among the people. These were my deepest thoughts as I stared into the windshield of my car on that cold gloomy day.
Suddenly, as I was staring into the window I saw in the middle of all that frost a heart. An inspirational message of love and hope from my God in the form of a heart in the middle of all that frost. Suddenly, I felt safe, loved, and hopeful. I felt the presence of God in the car with me letting me know this to shall pass tomorrow is another day.
That is true inspiration because our inspiration always comes from the Lord the maker of heaven and earth. Recently, I read a book called “Knowing God”. If you want to know God or have a relationship with God I highly recommend this book. It will change the way you see God completely.
