What is the True Definition of Empowered?

Hello everyone, I hope today finds you well. I talked about inspiration in one of my previous blog posts and I truly hope that you enjoyed reading them. But I want to go a little deeper in this blog post. So, I am going to recap just a little on inspiration so that you can see how it all ties together.

God’s word is inspired by God. Since, we know that his word is inspired by Him. Then we know that our inspiration comes from God because He dwells on the inside of every person that has accepted Him as their Lord and Savior. So, how do we tap into that inspiration? Well, we tap into that inspiration by tapping into God. So, how do we tap into God? Although, people make this out to be very hard. Simply, it is not. In fact, all you need to do to tap into God is to build a relationship with Him. Some, might ask how do you do that? Easily, by making it a habit to spend time with him daily.

So, how does being inspired by God lead a person into being empowered by God? Well, the true definition of empowered means to give someone the authority or power to do something. In fact, empowered is not something you can do by yourself. Moreover, it is a verb someone else must take the action to give to you from their authority, and their power to you so that you can be empowered. So, are you starting to see how it all comes together? God provides you with inspiration, then he empowers you to walk in that inspiration. He gives you from his own authority and power the authority and power you need to go forward and be empowered in the very thing that he has inspired you to do. Furthermore, it is not limited to one person but available to all people.

Finally, to be empowered simply means that God has given you authority and power to walk in the inspiration He has given you to prepare yourself to walk a purposeful life! If you don’t know what your purpose is or why you are here on this earth I highly suggest you read the book The Purpose Driven Life: What on Earth Am I Here For?
