Connections for a Cause

Today I look around the world just to see so many great accomplishments that have been made by great people who simply connected for a cause. Compassion International feeds children all around the world. Breast Cancer Foundation founded by Susan G. Komen. Both amazing organizations whose grass roots started by people simply connecting for a cause.

Your inspiration should always lead you to discover all the gifts that God has equipped you with. Once, you discover those gifts then God empowers you to connect to great people. Not for you but for them. Your purpose is always connected to someone else. So, often we get caught up in spending time trying to figure out that we are called, that we forget why God placed us here in the first place. Every person you meet is a person you can win for Christ. Every person you connect with is a person who might be connected to your cause for a purpose. However, if you are always trying to figure out that your called you will miss the opportunity for the connection for purpose.

The truth is we are all called. In Galatians 5:13, English Standard Version it says that we are all called to freedom but and there is a but. It says that we are not to use that freedom for our own selfish ambition. In fact, it says that we are called to serve one another. In 1 Peter 4:10, it says that we all have received a gift and that we are all to use that gift to serve others. In fact, we are to be good stewards of the grace that God has bestowed upon us.

So, when you discover your inspiration and God empowers you to use the gift that he has equipped you with to connect to great people for a cause to serve others that is when you truly have discovered who you are in Christ and not what the world says that you do.
